When planning my Intervention gif, I decided to revisit an idea I have explored in some of my past artwork — a representation of my inner world. I frequently stare off into space while conceiving whimsical storylines for my enjoyment, and unless I decide to put an idea onto paper, most of what I think about is confined to my brain alone. For my animation, I wanted to play off the phrase “head in the clouds” by illustrating clouds and other somewhat outlandish things swirling out of my head to portray what is going on in my mind while, from an outside perspective, I might usually look lost or depressed.
